2am mental/emotional breakdown.

5 hours later I still question the choices I made in college. I really want to be sad to leave but this is the worst senior year ever.

The only intelligent person on my newsfeed right now.

Even though I still think of this as some of the best news in recent times, I can’t help but agree with this.
While I’m happy for the sense of justice that this brings to thousands of people I would have preferred that he had been captured, brought in, put on trial, and sentenced to life in prison.
Obviously this means nothing but it’s just something to think about before continuing to celebrate something that, to me at least, feels like a half-hearted victory.

today I decided to put my favorite stuffed polar bear Nate gave me for our first Valentine’s Day in the washing machine..
about 20 min in I noticed it was kind of loud and shaking intensely so I rushed to the machine to turn it off and the lid WOULD NOT OPEN. I stood there about to have a nervous breakdown picturing his fluff everywhere and almost yelled “GIVE ME BACK MY BEAR” to the machine
eventually I rescued him and he’s now fresh and clean and in my lap =]

Spent the entire weekend with my family visiting from New York. Did the DC Museum thing, walked around, saw the monuments, had dinner, etc. Spent a few minutes at the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden where Yoko Ono had created a piece called Wish Tree for Washington.

Basically there’s little tags of paper to write down a wish and tie it to the tree. When the tree is full, they cut them down and send it to the artist. It was an awesome experience attaching your wish, seeing other people write down there own wishes, and reading some of the (sometimes strange) wishes left by passing visitors in all different languages.

Yes, someone actually wished to be a river otter. Me too kid.. me too
